Jo Chasse grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The long, cold winters were perfect for curling up with good book and some hot chocolate. She graduated from Augsburg College with a B.S. in Mathematics and received a M.Ed in Language and Literacy from the University of Guam. This is her 31st year of teaching and 23rd year as a librarian. She has taught in Guam, Florida and Texas. Mrs. Chasse is looking forward to her 7th year at AHJS. |
Alison Vives is an Alamo Heights graduate and has taught Dual Language and Spanish Immersion third through sixth grades for twenty years, most of those at Woodridge. She is an avid reader, especially while at the beach (her favorite place)! In her free time, Ms. Vives loves to cook, do yoga, travel, and fish. She is thrilled to be back at the JS for her second year! ¡Vengan a visitarme en la biblioteca! |
The AHJS Student Library Aides are an essential part of our library team. These dedicated students serve our school community as library aides during one of their elective periods. They assist with circulating and shelving materials, organizing and beautifying our space, and delivering books and equipment to our patrons.
Our parent and community volunteers are incredibly helpful and appreciated. If you would like to contribute your time and talent as a library volunteer, please contact us.
